Please
Note: Any changes to the tee-times must be made through the Pro-Shop (ph:
496-8710).
Riverside
Business Girls uses a tee-time system to schedule play on Tuesdays.
Officially, RBG begin tee times at 3:00 pm.
To book tee times for the following week, members must enter their name
or group in a draw the week prior requesting their desired time.
The draw committee will draw tee times and post them in the clubhouse so
you can check next week’s schedule when you’re finished your round. Or
you can click on the link above to find out your tee-time for the following
week.
How
to book your tee time:
- When
you arrive on Tuesday, before you begin your round, complete a draw ballot
for the following Tuesday.
Ballots and box are left out in the clubhouse.
- You
can enter as a single, or as a group, but be sure to fill out your ballot
completely, indicating your preferred time of play and all the names of the
people in your group.
- If
you are golfing in a group, be sure to only submit ONE ballot per group –
if your group submits more than one ballot (even by mistake), they will all
be disqualified for that week.
- Ballots
must be submitted by 6:30 pm each Tuesday.
- Indicating
your preferred time DOES NOT guarantee you that spot, however, the draw
committee will attempt to give you a time as close to the one your
requested. Your tee time will not be earlier than you requested,
although it may be scheduled for a later time. If you do not want to
be scheduled for a later time, indicate that on your ballot.
- Once
all the ballots are in, a random draw will be conducted. The resulting
tee time schedule will be posted on the bulletin board and in the Pro Shop.
- You
must sign up every week to get into the draw for the following week.
Our
volunteer draw committee works very hard every week to complete this complex
task, trying to be fair to all of our members, so please be understanding and
patient if your tee times do not always suit your preference.
We will continue to provide information regarding tee times on a regular
basis, and the RBG executive welcome any feedback or suggestions about the
system we are currently using.
Some
useful tips about tee times…
- If,
for some reason, you don’t get a tee time, don’t be discouraged! There
are usually many open spots by the time the following Tuesday rolls around.
If you come down to the clubhouse the following Tuesday or call the
Pro Shop during the week, you can almost always get a tee time.
- Please
show up on time.
If you miss your tee time, you’re out of luck!
- If
you won’t be there to submit your ballot, you can ask someone to complete
your ballot for you.
If
you can’t make you tee time…
Be
considerate.
If you are unable to make your tee time, please call the Pro Shop and
cancel, so someone else can take your spot.
The league has the right to revoke tee time booking privileges to those
members who do not call to cancel bookings.
