Match Play Tournament This is a two-day tournament for the lowest 32 scores after day one. The first day of competition establishes the match play for the season for all other players. The gross score determines the order of finish. Based on the order of finish, every 16 members form a flight. The total gross score for both days determines the order of finish for the 32 players. The 16 lowest gross scores after day 2 will be in the Championship Flight. The other 16 players will move to the First Flight. The order of finish determines the matches in each flight. There are deadlines for each level of matches. You are responsible to observe the rules of engagement and the deadlines to avoid disqualification. The Tournament director does not give extension for match beyond the given deadlines without valid reasons. Handicaps in the computer for both players on the day of the match determine the difference in number of strokes. High handicapped player obtains a stroke on holes based on the order of handicap according to the difference. For example, if the difference is 3, high handicapped player has a stroke on holes handicapped 1, 2 and 3. Championship Flight matches are to be played with no handicap factors applied. |
