This tournament selects representatives to A.G.A. sponsored tournaments, Alberta Interclub and Alberta Net-Amateur. There are four spots on the Interclub team and two spots for the Net Amateur. The A.G.A. registration requirements for the Interclub competition is a handicap lower than 15 and for the net-Amateur, a handicap higher than 15 and lower than 24.

The tournament will be a full field event regardless your handicap status. However, the selection of the representatives will be selected among players with handicaps (on the tournament day) that qualify the A.G.A. registration requirements. For the Interclub team, gross score is used. Winners in the four handicap groups, 0-4, 5-8, 8-11 and 12-15 will form the Interclub team. For the Net-Amateur, net score is used. The first and second place winners in the handicap group 15.1-24 shall represent the club.

In the event, a winner cannot represent the club in these competitions; the next qualifier in the group will take his place.
